In theory, you can lose weight without exercise. The only thing you need to do is to figure out how many calories you burn and eat less. When you exercise, your body burns more calories. Without exercise you need to cut more calories out of your diet which can be difficult and unhealthy. Exercise also builds muscle which will burn calories at rest. This will help you burn even more calories throughout the day.
 
One of the reasons you are trying to lose weight is to be healthy and exercising will make you even healthier. So while it is technically possible to lose weight with no exercise, it is impractical and hard to achieve. You will be much better off enjoying a nice day in the park or a rainy day in the gym rather than sitting in front of the television worrying about your calorie intake.  You can absolutely lose weight without exercise. You can lose weight by taking in fewer calories than you burn.  The best way to do this is to start keeping track of what you eat. Even though this one step is the most important one to take in weight loss, it is the one most resisted.
 
You must figure out how many calories you are currently taking in. Then you can begin to take control. Eating small amounts often has been proven to be the best way to fuel the body and to keep your metabolism running. In addition to the food records, you need to understand your basic caloric needs. Breakfast is one of the easiest meals to change. Every morning, as soon as you get up, drink a 1/2 litre of ice cold water on an empty stomach. This forces the body to work harder to heat itself. Then, within the next 30 minutes, eat a hearty, high-protein breakfast of two eggs, can of beans, or lentils, and spinach. Drink more and more water to quick weight loss . You should not add sugar to anything.
 
Exercise is fantastic for weight control, health and overall well being. Incorporating it into your life is a good thing but there are those who just never will.
